Safer combustion
We measure flue gas and check venting so carbon monoxide stays outside where it belongs.
A yearly boiler tune-up catches weak parts, cleans what needs cleaning and confirms the venting is safe, before the first cold night puts the system to work.
No heat, no hot water or a gas smell? Call any time, day or night.
Boilers are tough, but they are not maintenance free. Sludge settles in the heat exchanger, expansion tanks lose their air charge, condensate traps clog, ignition electrodes wear, and venting joints loosen. None of this shows up right away. It shows up as a lockout on the coldest night of the year, or as a boiler quietly burning more gas than it should.
Regular boiler maintenance from Able Pro covers the whole hydronic system: burner, heat exchanger, venting, safety controls, pumps, valves and water pressure. We test combustion so you know the boiler is burning cleanly and not producing carbon monoxide. Afterwards you get a plain summary of what we found, what we adjusted, and anything worth planning for. A tune-up is a small job that protects a large investment.
We measure flue gas and check venting so carbon monoxide stays outside where it belongs.
A clean heat exchanger and a properly set burner turn more of your gas into heat.
Worn igniters, weak pumps and failing sensors are easier to replace on a calm fall day than at midnight.
A correctly charged expansion tank keeps pressure steady and stops the relief valve from dripping.
Purging air and checking pumps cuts down on gurgling, banging and kettling.
Keeping water clean and parts in spec slows the wear that ends a boiler's life early.
Pick a slot online or call us. Early fall is ideal, but any time of year works.
We fire the boiler, measure how it runs, and look over every major component.
We clean, tighten and adjust what needs it, and quote any parts before replacing them.
You get a short explanation of the condition of your system and what to keep an eye on.
We go through the full system every visit, not a quick look at the burner.
Cast-iron, condensing, combi and boilers with indirect tanks are all routine work for us.
We tell you what we saw and why it matters, without pushing work you do not need.
Ask about a maintenance plan so the yearly visit is scheduled for you.
Still unsure? Call (236) 222-2222 and talk it through with us.
It depends on the boiler and how long since its last service. A combi that is serviced every year is quicker than an older boiler with a heavily fouled heat exchanger. We will give you a realistic idea when you book.
Many manufacturers list annual service by a qualified technician in their warranty terms. Keeping a record of yearly maintenance helps keep the manufacturer's warranty valid, so it is worth keeping your service paperwork.
Yes, if your system has manual bleed screws and you are comfortable doing it. Keep an eye on the pressure gauge afterwards, because removing air can drop the pressure. If you need to bleed often, there is likely an underlying problem worth having us look at.
They share the heating side, but a combi also has a plate heat exchanger and a flow sensor for domestic hot water. We check hot water temperature and flow, and flush the plate heat exchanger if it is restricting flow.
Glance at the pressure gauge now and then, keep the area around the boiler clear, make sure your carbon monoxide alarms work, and call us if you hear new noises or see water on the floor.
Call (236) 222-2222 or book online and head into winter knowing your boiler is ready.
